Add me to the list of cats who hate the tort look, although it works really well in certain situations. There was a candy red Morse with a tort guard that was floating around NY when I used to live there (I believe it ended up on ebay), that combo looked incredible

That was the guitar that made me get a tort guard on my candy red silo special.

sorry for the light and color variances

One man's ugly is another's purty. White pearl was, for me, horrid. Too much flashy plastic. Black pearl actually wasn't bad for me, but it felt too inert and serious. Tort (shown with cream in place of white) just feels organic to me, and thus is my choice.

..this silo is a 1992 model..

..its a special way of wall montage..;-)..no..just rotated 90 degrees..its not my photo (its the ebay from the seller i bought it from)..
..i plan to make photos of my two 1992 silos and then present them in the next weeks..

When I ordered my guitar I fully intended to change the pickguard from Tort to black.... but I never did, I ended up liking it after all.
