Selling my EB Earthwood Guitar

NOTE: UPLOADED ALL NEW PHOTOS

Must sell the Earthwood Flattop I purchased at Coast Music in Costa Mesa, CA in 1972. At this point I'm considering posting it on eBay, but thought I'd check in here first to see if anyone might be interested. I'm the original owner and it's in great condition considering its age. I'm attaching a few photos for reference. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

First, although you may have read this already, try posting this in the MusicMan Guitars for sale thread (Music Man Guitars for Sale).

You might also want to indicate an idea of what kind of money you might be looking for....

And...WELCOME!

First off welcome and this is a very very rare piece that is deserved of a separate thread. I need to know more but serial #503 is the third one made.

What do you want for it?

Wow.. that is stinkin cool.

And, I would have never seen it if it was posted in the for sale thread because I can't afford to even look in that thread I'm so poor right now. LOL I'd hate to not have seen that picture... I'd never even heard of them until now.

Good luck... hope it finds a friendly home.

Thanks to all for such a warm welcome.

As to why I'm selling the Earthwood... I'm a freelance designer. Just spent close to three months on a project for my best client. They went out of business before they could pay us. I was able to pay my crew, but it's going to take some time to get back on our feet, so... last week I sold my vintage Les Paul Custom to a player from Australia. This week it's my Earthwood.

Regarding a price, I have no idea. I considered contacting Gruhn Guitars for an appraisal, but since it's such a rare piece, I thought I'd get much better feedback from you guys. I really want it to go to a good home, but I also need to get as much as I can out of it.

I plan on uploading a few more photos later today, but in the meantime, feel free to contact me if I can answer any of your questions.

Thanks again ...

I was able to pay off my crew, but had nothing left for the house payment, so... I've had to sell off my guitars to cover me until I can get back on my feet. Last week I sold my vintage Les Paul Custom to a player from Australia. The Earthwood is my last guitar.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Glen, poppa will see you right, and if not as Koogie said, plenty of other buyers here! - or if poppa swaps you for something rare you'll have even more folks queueing up to speak to you!

Thoroughly confused here. Is Earthwood part of EB? BP, can you fill me in?

Do you take pesos?
