EVh signature model with one of a kind bridge!

Ok here we go again...

Found this photo of an EVH signature guitar with a fixed bridge..
Did this style bridge ever go into production?

I love the look...

EVH guitar

I would love to get the official word here on this guitar about it ever going into production?

While you wait for the official word I will venture an educated guess and say no, it was a one-off. The fixed bridge EVHs are similar to other EBMM fixed ones. Check out Spud's thread on his EVH for what a production hardtail looked like.

Looks like the bridge off a 54 Les Paul or something from that era.

a little sidetrack here, but in looking at the picture I was more drawn to the car actually, because it made me think that a guy probably couldn't sit on any average car these days without putting a dent in it, or even have that much room and comfort....

Looks a little out of place to me, but pretty cool anyway. I want an Axis so bad!

That's a 57 Chevy Bel-Air. That sucker is a tank. Detroit doesn't build them like that anymore.

That version of the EVH is pretty sweet. I'd love one with a wraparound or TOM bridge.

I love that car too. Newer ones are designed to crumble in an accident and be classified as "totals" in a fender bender, but I do know what you're saying about how the old ones were built. Reminds me of my 1st car/truck a 67 Ranchero.

Not to hijack this into a "Your first car thread"...but I know what you mean about the newer cars and their lack of taking a hit. My first car was a '66 Chevy, and it was a tank!

Back to the original purpose of this thread....Cool EVH hardtail!

It's a wrap around bridge and that is a one off EVH. I love the look of it too.

Nope.. that's a 56 Chevy... mmmmm One of my favorite cars ever... although the 55 is my dream car. I love 57s too though. LOL Cars were just magic back then.

Oh the guitar... no.. that never went into production. It seems that I recall there being discussion about a fixed bridge EVH hitting the market, but I think it was like "what if" talk and it also seems that the timing was right around just before Eddie left. I'm GUESSING that's where the Axis hardtail found it's origins as far as when the waters of discussion were being discussed. It seems to me that if someone wanted a stop piece bridge for an EVH styled guitar, the hardtail Super Sport would be superior anyway. Intonation and all...
