Exclamation What do you think about this?

Music Man S.U.B, 1 Guitar fs/ft

I saw this post while browsing over Craigslist. I am new to Music Man guitars and don't know much about them. First off, is this a good guitar (like the sound, the neck, etc)? And is it worth $450?

The Sub is a great guitar for not a lot of money. The build quality is fantastic and a lot of people love them.

Check some of the other threads around, there's a lot of people that love theirs. As for the price, I'm not sure, as I don't know what they go for in the US, but it looks to be a good deal to me.

I really love these guitars. If you don't know already these were made in the same factory as all the other high end Musicman guitars in California. There is alot of competition for guitars in this price range but the thing that stands out the most is how comfortable they are to play and how solid the construction is on them.

When I bought mine I tested out all kinds of mid priced Ibanez, PRS bolt ons, Schecter etc etc. The Sub won. (But I don't like the pick gaurd)

I think the SUB is a great guitar. I'm waiting to pick up just the right one. My only concern with this listing is that it looks like one of the stock Musician's Friend pics. I'd ask the seller for pics of the actual guitar that he/she is selling.

I just bought one from a forum member, single humbucker, for $300. I would think you should be able to find one at about the same price.

This one is going to be a Christmas present for my son.

Sub1 guards? - sure there are different guards you can put on a Sub1. You can go to pickguardheaven and get one in lots of different colors. You can get the stock 1 hummer and 2 hummer guards from EB Music Man just call customer service. And just look at this guard on my Black Sub1, it's from a Silhouette Special, complete. Just took minor routing for the middle single coil pup.
