The history of the Rosewood Axis & Ass

Ok, I was wondering what was the history behind the Rosewood Axis and ASS. I couldn't find use the search option. Just wondernig who's brain child it was and so on and so forth.

ya actually i dont know either. I remember the first time I saw em here.... someone from EBMM posted pics and a couple days after that and said it was going to be a standard option

Such a great guitar. My Rosey is my go to axe right now. So comfortable and sounds great on everything.

I actually have 2 I'll post the other as soon as I'm settled into the new house so give me a few weeks!It's actually got a killer all RACESTRIPE type wood grain I really dig it it's grain but looks too cool!Her it was from e bay(if this works?)

Is that a one piece rosewood body? I believe even the George Harrison rosewood tele was two pieces glued together. I've never even heard of any other all rosewood guitars.

I think if the Rosewood neck option had been made available without the rosewood top they would be far more popular. I think the distinctive look does put a few people off.
