hey thanks colin!!
it's really nothing, I just started studying the modal system a few weeks ago at the music academy I attend, so I was really just experimenting some stuff.

Anyway no, I'm not using any pedals, since I don't have any yet
I'm waiting for this month's paycheck to come in, so I can start building the rack, for now it's just guitar straight into the amp

Ya i must really try to learn those bloody modes in the near future as they are a great asset to your playing and can really expand your knowledge of improvising etc.i attempted to learn them years ago but gave up at the first hurdle

Call me crazy, but I found this guy near where I live that has this brand new roadster head, but he said it's just got too many things for him, so he wants to sell it, or even better swap it, for a 3ch dual rectifier.
I've sent him an email so that we can meet up.

I know you guys must be thinking I'm inconsisten and change idea every day, but if I can do anything to improve my sound I'll do it
This GAS...

OH MY GOD!!!
I MUST TELL YOU THIS AMAZING STORY ABOUT THIS AMAZING GUY!!!

As I said, I sent an email to this guy with the roadster that was looking for a dual rectifier.
This morning he replyed, and said that he really wanted to see my dual, TODAY!
I really had nothing better to do, so I drove up to his place (about 40 miles from where I live), and when I arrived I was shocked at his "house".
It was HUGE, with a white Porsche Carrera Gt and a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in the drive-way!!!!!!!!
I was drolling like mad.
Anyway, he lets me into the mansion, and we go down 2 sets of stairs, and arrive at a door.
He opens it........and......WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!
Never seen anything like that in my LIFE!!!
The room was about 100m2 and I'm not exagerating.
The front wall was FULL of guitars!!
Amoung all the very rare guitars, he also ad a few ebmm, 4 lukes (2bfr's), 6 jp's, 5 silhouettes and then I can't even remember the others, he said the guitars were 102.
On the other side he had 4 steinway pianos, 5 drum kits, and 12 4X12 CABS!!!
Oh, and yes, ALL the mesa boogie heads, including mark 2c+.

I was speechless...but here comes the really cool part.
I asked him when does he find the time to play all of those instruments, and he said HE HAS NEVER PLAYED ANY OF THEM, HE JUST LOVES TO HAVE A ROOM FULL OF THEM!!!!!

O.O O.O O.O O.O

Anyway, he takes me to the heads section, and takes off the cover from the roadster, which like everything else in that room was BRAND NEW, never been switched on!!
I was the first who ever plugged it in, it still had the mesa boogie lables and there was still the plastic covers on the tubes!!!!
After trying it I asked him why he wanted the dual, and he said that he had mistakenly bought another roadster instead of a dual rectifier!!!!!

Anyway, we did the exchange, so what I have now is a BRAND NEW mesa boogie roadster head!!!
he didn't even whant the extra money!!
I mean, it was like ordering that amp from a store, I was the first person ever that played through that head, and here in italy you would pay 3200€ in a shop...but he just swapped!!
And wow, does it sound great!!!
This time I'VE REALLY found my amp!!
It's just perfect!

Here's a pic, as you can see, it's brand new, the pedal board had never been taken out of its case, and the head has been inside the case, so there's not even dust on it!

I just can't beleve how luky I've been!!
