The guitar looks amazing! Thanks for the photos and vid, Pete!

I wonder why they made this one have a "flat" neck heel, though, instead of the slanted/moulded like on the std. and BFR Axis models (and the Silhouettes for that matter)?

As for this vs. the 20th Silo, Pete said to me yesterday that in comparison, the 20th is more darker and focused, while the 25th seems to breathe more, along with the higher output. I'm sure he can elaborate on that here, though.

I will try and do a 20th Silo/25th EBMM comparison later on this weekend. Right now the Silo is set up for C-standard with ultra mega not even slinky strings, so it won't be a fair comparison until they are both strung with Regular Slinky strings.

As far as the neck heel goes, you get even easier access to the upper frets! Personally that is a big comfort factor to me, as I tend to do a bit of twiddling up around 15-21.

Here are a couple more shots...

Yes, it's similar, but instead of the slanted contour down towards the neck from the neck plate, it's straight/flat down on the 25th. Probably more like on the JP:

I can see that it gives you higher fret access, though, as the std./20th neck heel has a tendency to settle your hand in a comfortable spot, instead of necessarily allowing you to reach further up.

Really looking forward to the comparison, Pete!

It is very easy to play the upper frets. We addressed access and made tons of tiny changes that collectively mak a big difference. THis is a completely different guitar with its own personality. THis wasnt a cosmetic repackage but a ground up design
