Haha I meant three of my friends, I wasn't saying you were! It's been a few months since I had a JP in my place, the fretwork on the EBMM stuff is outstanding! Not sure why other brands don't have this kind of attention to detail on production guitars...

That's the difference between a real person finishing the frets and a machine finishing them.

Yeah I mean even compared to some of the Ibanez Prestige stuff where the frets are finished/level by hand, the edges and crowns are nicer on the EBMM. Balled fret ends are your friend!

You said it man, I checked out your youtube vids and you have some killer JPs (that silverburst makes me jealous as heck! ). The olive gold looks great with the rosewood neck too, I have yet to see a color combo I don't dig with the dark rosewood neck.

You hit the nail on the head there. I would LOVE to see another run of rosewood necks just so I can order THE guitar I want.

I have the OG JP6, but it wasn't built for me...I want one that was built for me.

If your amethyst burst JP7 had a rosewood neck, it WOULD BE my ideal JP7 BFR! Just caught the picture of it in the BFR thread, HOLY CRAP! I'm in love! If you ever decide to sell it please let me know. Fortunately as far as the one I would order to have built for me was exactly what Brian Meader ordered, so I just kinda lucked out that it hadn't sold before I found it!

I would die if there were a rosewood neck on that one. Just thinking about it gives me chills.

And...uh...don't hold your breath on me selling that guitar. It's my main axe
