DARGIE DELIGHT LUKE and JP6

Hey,

I am thinking of selling my beautiful collector`s items:

1. MM LUKE DARGIE DELIGHT
2. MM PETRUCCI JP6 DARGIE DELIGHT, fully loaded

Both guitars are like new, nearly unplayed. I always kept them in the case and only played few times at home. Now I could use the money to buy some studio gear and wanted to sell both guitars in a few forums.

To be honest, I do not have so much knowledge about this limited series.

The luke is limited to 21 guitars, right? What about the JP6?

Can you please tell me more about the series? This would be very helpful to answer future questions and to prepare a proper text for selling it.

I am located in Germany and here people do not know so much about the Dargie`s :-)

I'd put this in the for sale section, you'll get more replies and interest. I also PM'd you about the Dargie JP6.

Hey guys,
many thanks for replies and offers you have sent.

But this thread was meant to give me some more information about the DD-series.

Maybe it is easier when I ask the following questions:

1. how many DD Luke`s were built?
2. how many DD JP6 were built?
3. Do they have special serial number codes where I can get more information from?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. There's been numerous threads about the DD's with the total number of 277 DD's made (see Dargie Delight for a breakdown for each model).

AFAIK, the DD's don't have special serial numbers but if you want, post the serial no's in the IMPORTANT: My Ernie Ball's Serial # is... sticky and the excellent EB customer service team will give you some info of the build date and where the guitar was shipped to etc.

Great, many thanks!

So,only 21 Luke`s and only 10 Fulloption Petrucci`s made!

Wow, I didn`t know that they are so limited. I will definetly have to think about other options, than selling these beauties.

Just know that if you decide to sell them on the forum, they will probably go really fast.

Yeah, I hope so.

I have placed the Luke for sale against best offer it I received a few offers very quick. But until now, I am not sure what price is ok and I will collect offers 1-2 days and then I will decid.

I have some other "non-music man" gear for sale and I hope that I will sell one of this gear quickly, so that I am not forced to sell one of my Dargies.

But it is also a pitty, that the guitars are just lying in the case, cause I do not want to play them live cause they could get a damage or something like that.

So, the DArgie Delight Luke is sold for a huge amount of money.

I think I will keep the petrucci, cause for the moment, this money is enough for my plans.

Many thanks for help.

Seems like a good compromise- now we'll need to see some pics of that JP!

Stick around, we're a generally cool bunch, if I do say so myself.

I want a DD Luke for myself and the price Luke quoted me was £2000

I could almost buy a BFR for that money!
