Gwen,

This is obviously something that was done as a special instrument - with the eagle silkscreen and a clear pickguard. What a beauty! I will see if anyone here remembers this guitar or knows anything more. It was obviously made with a special occasion or person in mind.

Dan

So can you please tell me more about the Silo HSS i recently purchased on Ebay. It's serial number is 96020. BTW the finish (something like honeyburst) looks stunning. It should be made available again.
VS, yes the finish is Honeyburst, though we simply called it Sunburst back then. The body is Southern Ash and the neck is of course maple/rosewood. It was completed on 01/30/95 and was originally shipped to the old Thoroughbred Music in Tampa, Florida.

Nice guitar!

Didn't Sterling mention making some of these years back in the various string pack colours with the eagle on them? Though I'd seen a photo way back.

beej, what a mind! You are correct, in the early days of EBMM we built these Silhouettes. One Pink, one Yellow, and one Blue (this one). We had them at out NAMM show both in either 1986 or 1987.

Cool stuff!

Mike, your guitar was shipped to Frank's Music in Chatham, Ontario, on 4/30/07.

Sweet!

Your guitar was completed on 10-25-02. NICE! (although the "6" is actually a G)

John, certainly! Your Translucent Gold EVH (nice top by the way) was completed on 8/27/93 and sent to the now-defunct Saint Charles Music Exchange in St Louis, Missouri.

Nice!
