JP6 and JP7

Hi,

I purchased on evilbay a few months ago a JP6 and a JP7. I know that I had asked about the JP7 back in June but I had mistakenly deleted the email that I believe that Kevin (or possibly Dan) had sent.

The serial no.'s are G34010 (JP6) and F07847 (JP7).

I'm not only looking for the "birth date" but also which dealer/store they were initially sent to.

Thanks a lot,
Kent

Hi All,

I'm in France, and I would like to get some infos about my EVH signature serial # 80094.
It's a blue one.
I bought is new in the early 90', but I don't remember exactly when...
Also, it appears to be a very early serial number, or am I wrong?

Thanks,

Bruno.

Wow!! I started out playing a '72 Les Paul Custom. Wanted to expand my sound so I got a Strat. I still just wasn't satisfied so this year I decided to try a Music Man. I bought a '07 Silhouette #G30998 Carbon Blue Pearl with an Abalone pick guard. I just love this guitar!! Im now a EBMM convert and am now going to try other models. Thanks Ernie Ball !!!

JPM, your JP6 was completed on 4/13/05 and shipped to a very cool store in Vestal, NY called Audio Classics.

Bruno, you are not wrong, this was pretty early in the production line, perhaps a month or two into production of the EVH's. It was completed on 7/16/91. Nice!

Kabz, you have there one of the "original" Blue Dawn John Petrucci guitars. It was completed on 10/3/2002 and sent to Riks Music in Knoxville.

Cool - glad to have you on our team!

Your Silhouette was built on 12/8/05. It was originally shipped to The Arts Music Store in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.

Dan.

Hi all!
Been lurking here for a while, but now I'm feeling brave enough for my first post. I have a Silhouette, which I have only recently realised is probably the best guitar I've owned. (Vintage white, Hardtail, HSH,Maple board, S/N 89154)

Snoogans, welcome to the "active" side of the Forums. You are now officially an "ex-lurker". There is no going back now!

Your Silhouette serial number is not matching up with what we have in our records. Could you please recheck the serial number? Thanks ...

Thanks for the welcome, I'm looking forward to spending some "quality time" here!
I went and double-checked the serial on the Silhouette, I even got the G/F to check, just in case the eyes were playing up. It's definitely 89154.

Snoogans, here's what we show for serial # 89154: Silhouette Trans Red Maple SSS completed on 9/7/89 and shipped to the UK. It could be a neck plate swap or some other mishap. Generally the records even this early were quite accurate, but there's of course a chance it may have been mis-entered here. I will try to do more investigating as I have time.
