I finally purchased my first Music Man guitar ever: a beautiful black Luke II with matching headstock!
Serial number is G33043.

When did you guys give birth to this baby? (Just curious!)

Thanks in advance!

Rgds.

Axel,

Your new guitar (congratulations, by the way), is an Axis Sport with MM-90 pickups and a standard bridge built on February 7, 2001. This is apparently a very special guitar! It is listed as black with light and medium green stripes. The original customer is not listed but this one of about 20 of this type built.

Very interesting guitar. Pics if you would on this thread: "Official" pics-o-my-guitar Thread

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,
many thanks for the Info ! ! !
I bought this guitar in pretty much "like new" condition from John Grönlund. He is the guitarist of the Swedish Band Willowtree who won the 2001 EMERGENZA competition, if I'm not completely mistaken - the battle-of-the-bands European branch. I don't exactly know whether he won that guitar for best guitarist or they got it for the best band, but it is one of the custom colored EBMM EMERGENZA 2001 winners guitars.
Yeah, sure I'll post some new pics. Will take a couple of days...

Thanks again and all the best

Axel

It's official, I am dumb. Or even dumber

Couple of days ago I took a look at my JP6 metal plate with S# and I could not believe how I did such a mistake couple of months ago: serial number of my JP6 is G33138 (not G33133)

I had to be so excited, when brought this wonderful guitar home, that I read the last digit wrong and it was "stored" in my memory for a couple of months

Can I kindly request checking again a DOB of my guitar?
I would be very appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

^^Welcome back to the forum after your extended leave of absence. You should stick around... this forum is good for a lot more than just DOB's. And please post some pics of your guitar CBP is an awesome color.

Thanks for welcoming me back, but it's actually not necessary, because I am reading this forum almost every single day
It's just that I don't have so much to write

And I promise to post some photos of my beautiful guitar

Barry, Your Silhouette 20th Anniversary was completed on 11/16/06. This one was sent the Perfect Guitar. There were less than 20 made of these in this exact configuration.

Cheers,

Dan

Axel, I suspected that this guitar had gone to Emergenza. Cool!

Robert, well that changes a few things - Now, your guitar is Carbon Blue Pearl (of course it always was) and it was completed on August 2, 2006 - but it was still originally shipped to Germany.
