Yeah its still a stock MM P90 in the neck...I wanted something with a little more poke in the bridge...I had fitted the same pickup to an old EBMM MM90 Axis Sport..one of the early models..no top..ash body..but it only had a 3 way switch..when this guitar was built they fitted the DLX at the factory, and put in a 5 way so I get some great tones with different coils...
As fo the willy!!??...well i beter explain..I was on tour in USA and played a show in SF...i found some joke glasses in a store..one had a willy for the nose...the other some breats!!...yes I know this is childish...I bought them for me and the drummer..and at points in the set when the lights were down we would put them on to see if the audience would notice...yes!!..even more childish...but thats what happens when you live on a bus for 3 months!!..anyway...i was having my gear photographed..and my tech said.."you go to catering and then get ready for the show..i will polish your guitars and get it all set up for the shoot"...he thought it would be funny to remove the willy from the glasses and have it pearing out from under my rack..so it was in all the pics...which I thought was hillarious..as the photographer never noticed...if you look at pics on my myspace..you will now see the willy pearing out from various places of my setup and at different venues around the world..its become a very childish tradition!!...what can I say haha...jamie...
