Great time and my first ever clinic. Steve and Dave were great and extremely down to earth. My 9 year old (who plays guitar and bass) decided to go, so he's been to a "concert" before his 13 year old brother (bragging rights). Like people said, I did learn a lot just from some of the explanations interspersed throughout the clinic. After both Dave and Steve answered a Guitar Hero/Rock band question (both were not fans of playing, really but were positive about bringing people into music), I watched steve with his switching and volume adjustments during his next song and thought to myself....he'd do fine in video games. He seems to approach tone and the guitar and equipment like an engineer. Very analytical and can express what's going on and why.

Some cool people to talk to while waiting to get in and my son found friends in line (other kids) and seemed to be the official warners that the water tasted like chlorine. haha.

Thanks to all the DuBaldos for all their work and to EBMM for helping make this possible. I even got to play the Y2D a bit while in line (someone else with it to get signed) and like it more than I expected. I had hoped to bring wads of cash and walk out with a guitar, but for some reason, wads of cash didn't magically appear in my pocket and a mid day soccer game nearly kept me from even making it to the clinic. I'll get in there one of these days.

Well, I have a LOT of practicing to get to......

Sorry....no pix from me....camera battery was dead and I'm the last remaining American without a camera phone.
