Such a shame, there were some very nice colors in the cut from my point of view.

I was hoping to get something at some point in Ice Blue.

Oh well, I'll have to wait and see what the new offerings are and take it from there.

RIP COLOR!

Please understand there will never be 27 standard colors again. WE are adding a few but this just got out of control.... Thirteen pickguards were too many especially when over 90% were two colors.

1) Orange Swirl
2) Gold Swirl
3) Blue Swirl
4) Moonstone
5) Blue Pearloid
6) Python
7)Abalone

Guys please get over it...n obody bought enough for it to be financially feasible to continue...WE have yet to discontinue a hot seller. Knee me in the groin if I do.

Anybody notice that Olive Green is discontinued? Its green. Unless it is a Dargie it doesnt sell.

There's just too much to choose from.
I'm really surprised to see Olive Gold & Cabernet Pearl on the list.
I love those colours. I just can't put an order in at the moment. Oh well. Maybe used?

Are there going to be new colours to replace them???
There may still be dealer NOS out there when you are ready. Right now we are not replacing them .. the idea is to sort of streamline things.

Yes .... it actually was canned at the 2008 Summer NAMM show. Orange Firemist sort of loosely replaced both it and Lava Pearl, and now it's going away too ....

Wow. I love a bunch of those colors.

But I guess if they're not making money they're getting in the way of something that can.

Interesting! I guess they just didnt sell, obviously. Pretty hot colours though. Maybe the public just never saw enough of them in stores.

I remember when I first got into EBMM, the amount of colours available was impressive, but I only ever saw black, white, red and sunburst ones on the internet and in shops or forumite collections.

That's the point ... you can offer the coolest colors and yet mainly sell the ones that have been around for 1,000 years.
