Rad Red was gorgeous - but the paint was expensive, so we had to have an upcharge for it, discouraging people from giving it a try, I guess. Slow sales finally killed it.

That was hands down the best red ever put on a guitar! You guys should give Buttercream a try on the standard market because it also rocks! I have a feeling its a cheaper paint then Rad Red, that had like frickin ice crystals in the paint it was so cool.

...I only ever saw black, white, red and sunburst ones on the internet and in shops or forumite collections.

That's the point ... you can offer the coolest colors and yet mainly sell the ones that have been around for 1,000 years.
I've often wondered how many EBMM guitars leave the factory for orders that big dealers use as stock vs orders for individual customers. Do customers buy black, white, red and burst because they're the usual available stock or are these really the colours that people want? Do dealers order these thinking it's the only thing that will sell?

There are too many black, red, white and sunburst guitars in the world. Think of all the people in the world who play electric guitar because they think it's cool or different or rebellious, and the all have the same colour guitars. Sheep I tells ya, Sheep!

Any colour considered as long as it's not red.
Silo Specials must be trem and rosewood. Feel free to PM me.

I didn't want a white one it came with biege interior, with kids that's like the kiss of death. I snagged a Galaxy Grey with black interior. I find Galaxy Grey very similar to Graphite Pearl.

Back to our regular posting, HJ Over.

I fail to see how black is better than biege as far as kids are concerned?

From the slippage stand point, markers, crayons, black hides everything man.

Orange Firemist, eh? I can see the two "silver" colours going, along with Electric Blue and Ice Blue.

Talking

Have the True Gold Ray and love the color. I'm sure I could go tomorrow and find another color that I like because all EBMMs are beautiful.

+1. Saw it once at a GC on a Petrucci (I think it was a JP6). Man, it was gorgeous. Truly stunning. I have never seen a picture that does RR justice.

Does EBMM design their paints in-house? Or is there a partner with which MM collaborates to create the colors and then supply the paint?
