Albert Lee Static
My Albert Lee is making static-like crackling (fairly faint) when I touch the neck or middle pickup or the pickguard adjacent to them. No noise occurs when I touch the bridge pickup, the area around the selector switch or the pickguard above the 6th string.
The tone is normal. I checked it with 2 different amps and different cords, so I'm sure it's in the guitar.Anybody else ever encounter something like this?

My Axis did something similar at one point and it was the input jack that was the issue... I would say take it to your local dealer and let them look at it and go from there. Either that or contact CS... but try the dealer first.
