A support group with a pack mentality. Sort of like Aussies...only mutant dullards.

You know his radar goes off when "Lefty" is in the title. BTW, that is a gorgeous guitar. Your friend is a lucky man. Great pics too.

No doubt. It's like he has "left-dar" or maybe he's a stalker? Scott, you better watch out, man

he's a closeted lefty. Classic self-loather. He'll be ok.

Yes. Hijack over.

It's just another Dargie. Nothing to see here. Move along

Scott, I've seen a few people here say the color shifting on the Dargies is much more subtle than the Mystic Dream. I've seen a few in person and didn't feel that way. What's your take on it now that you've been able to see it in multiple lighting conditions?

I'm one of the ones who said that. I think it has to do with the colors in the finish. The color shift of Mystic Dream goes from purple to green and I've even seen some orangey hues in it. The DD2 finish goes from green to goldish-green with some coppery hues.

So the shifting itself may not be subtle, but the colors it shifts to are closer to the "primary" color in the finish. This makes it look like a more subtle. At least to my eyes.

I think it is a different, more subtle color shift. The MD is a more dramatic shift because of the broader, purple to green spectrum of colors, I think. The green and yellow shift is not as bold. It's definitely there, just more subtle.

if that makes any friggin sense.

That makes sense, it's kind of what I figured was going on. I've seen the orangey hues as well, and there is some youtube footage of DT playing TCOT where it suddenly shifts from green to very red, but I assume that has to do with the lighting.

Every time I've seen one, or even a picture of one it looks different. I feel like I no longer have any point of reference for what the color looks like.
