Forum Advise Works!!!

From early on in this forum, I've noted many times, sometimes just as little comments from you guys who know......that when you go on stage, you always have a backup guitar. Made sense to me....who knows...maybe I wrap an e string around a sign post or something.

So this morning, we come back to do the second part of our songs in the service and the leader's strap lock pulls completely out of the guitar. On top of that, we're already behind and dropping one song. Someone yells...."what do you need" as he's standing there, hoping to start....he says "maybe a stool" and the drummer brings out a spare stool.....which falls apart as he's rushing up. I lean back and pick up the sublhouette and hand it to him. We finish the set with him doing his best imitation of an acoustic guitar player (he was plugged in) running in the double coiltapped position (there was no way, I was going to even try to explain the switching....just leave it alone).

So I have learned one way to get over the unexpected. Oh....my Axis did fine for me and I didn't even break a string.
