Hello all, first post with pics

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking for a while now and thought I'd say hello and share a bit of the story that brought me here. I've been a fan of the music man guitars since 8/9/1995 when I purchased my purple quilt EVH. It was the last electric guitar I purchased for myself, and while that's a bit sad, I can honestly say I haven't wanted another electric guitar badly enough to spend a few grand on it. That is, until recently.

In addition to the EVH, I've also got a Les Paul that I use as my guinea pig guitar. I've swapped out pickups, installed push-pull pots and pre-amps just to see what other sounds I can get from it. I'm no tech, I'm a hack at best, but I like having a guitar that was unique in the amount of different sounds I could get out of it. Then I learned of the 25th anniversary guitar and was floored to see a guitar company release a guitar that already had every single modification I was trying to achieve with my meager skills, plus a few I hadn't even thought of, all tucked into a gorgeous and exceptional piece of wood.

While I don't own a 25th, I'm anxiously awaiting the Reflex line to hit the dealers and hope they are available in Tobacco Burst or Vintage Sunburst with a maple neck.

Thanks for a great forum and I look forward to spending a lot of time here.

Later,
Tony
