hello! first, i'm from germany and i hope my english is ok!

i have bought 5 months ago an onyx bass! in this time i haven't get any informations about this bass! in another forum i've got the info that onyx is from ernie ball so, i hope anybody can help me here!

it is a 4string bass with 2 PUs, the body is anthazit-coloured, one switch for the 2 PUs and 4 potis! i hope that is enough!

Onyx Sterlings have "Ernie Ball" fairly obviously marked on the headstock.

This is an early 80's Onyx (see below) Mosrite copy bass. I refinished it in pink for a friend. It was originally the same colour as the one below.

It is an Onyx Mosrite copy with thick laminated body in silver sunburst. It is an 80's model called an Onyx 1030. These guitars and basses were Australian only imports built in Japan. This is exactly the same body as the bass above. Scale length is 25.5 ".

to me it sounds like a bongo. 2 pickups, 4 knobs. i might be stupid but the only eb/mm bass i know of that fits that description is the bongo.

the PUs are 2 different, one singlecoil at the bridge and one split coil above!
the pics aren't the same as my bass! i hope it will help!

Onyx bass ?!! Which one is this?

Hi i'm sebastiaan from holland,

I've bought a Onyx Bass guitar but i can't find anything about it .
Is there anybody who knows which one this onyx bass is?.
and what's the price of it?

obviously none of these basses are EB/MM basses so you might find more info on the talkbass forums. :)
