Scion Tours
Armed with T-shirts, stickers and other promotional items the
Ernie Ball team hits the road June 7 with a customized Toyota Scion, visiting
music dealers across the U.S. for a one-of-a-kind summer visitation tour.
Besides visiting dealers and exhibiting some Music Man instruments, the
tour is in search of the world's largest sewing machine, aliens, and any
off-beat tourist attractions that can be found.
"This tour gives us the opportunity to meet our dealers face to
face, see their stores and have some fun along the way," said Evan
Ball, Scion Tour Coordinator for Ernie Ball.
The Scion was picked for its unique appearance and is outfitted with
custom graphics from Ernie Ball's award winning art department. The Ernie
Ball website, www.ernieball.com, will be updated daily on the latest Scion
adventures.
Battle of the Bands 10
The Ernie Ball Company is providing the best local bands from North America
the opportunity to perform at the most prominent live music festival of
the last decade. Beginning June 16th and culminating August 14th, our Battle
of the Bands will take place at the 11th annual Vans Warped
Tour. Four bands from each venue will be selected to play live on the Ernie
Ball Local Heroes Mobile Stage. Equipped with a 24,000 watt sound system,
Ernie Ball's Local Heroes stage has featured over 5,000 unsigned bands including
national acts Bowling For Soup, Nonpoint, and Story of The Year.
At the conclusion of the Vans Warped Tour, four bands from the Battle
of the Bands will be selected to showcase your talents in front of industry
and label executives at a major Hollywood venue. The four bands will be
selected based on their Warped Tour performance on the Local Heroes Mobile
Stage. Crowd support, musicianship, and overall performance will be indicators
in deciding the bands who are selected to play in Hollywood. Last year's
showcase was held at the historic Key Club location in Hollywood. The
opportunities are limitless through The Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands.

Casey Lee Ball Foundation
The Casey Lee Ball Foundation is a nonprofit organization where 100% of
every dollar donated goes directly to pediatric kidney research. Casey Lee
Ball, third son of Sterling Ball, was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease
at age two. At age five, while Casey and Sterling were recuperating from
kidney transplant surgery, they decided to create the Casey Lee Ball Foundation.
As a result of their tireless efforts over the last six years, several new
medicines have made it to market in record time and are helping to reduce
the side effects of kidney transplant medications.

Lee Ball Foundation website.
