Ernie Ball Artists Take Home Gold and Big Nominations at 49th Annual Grammy's

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (February 16, 2007) - As in years past, the 49th Annual Grammy Awards were a hit for several Ernie Ball and Music Man endorsed artists, who took the stage to accept their coveted Grammy gold at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 11, 2007.

Leading the pack with two of the night's biggest wins was John Mayer, who won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum as well as Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for Waiting for the World to Change. Mayer was followed by Third Day, whose album Wherever You Are secured a win for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album; as well as Tool Art Director Adam Jones, who won Best Recording Package for the group's latest album, 10000 Days.

Not to be forgotten, a number of Ernie Ball and Music Man endorsed artists also received prestigious Grammy nominations in the following categories for the following works:
