SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (July 13, 2007) - World-renowned bassist, recording artist, and Ernie Ball Music Man endorsee Tony Levin will hold a free clinic Thursday, July 19 at 7pm at The Priory in Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire, UK. Tony plays Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray basses.
During the clinic, Levin will speak on everything from specific playing techniques and gear to the ins and outs of the music industry and his experiences on the road. He'll also treat audiences to a selection of pieces from his solo album as well as conduct a question and answer session for eager fans.
Over the years, Tony Levin has performed with the likes of Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, The Dire Straights, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Sarah McLachlan, Seal, Alice Cooper, Carly Simon and many others. His solo albums include Waters of Eden (2000), Pieces of the Sun (2002) and Double Espresso (2002). His most current solo album Resonator debuted in April of 2006 and was accompanied by a tour of the same name, which traveled to North America, Italy, Russia and Mexico.
Levin is currently on the road playing with Peter Gabriel in Europe.
