SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (November 9, 2007) - After taking the stage on select stops of the Vans Warped Tour this summer, the four winners of the 11th Annual Ernie Ball Vans Warped Tour Battle of the Bands are ready to rock the house at the event's final Hollywood Showcase Party!
Taking place Thursday, November 29 at the Key Club on the Sunset Strip, the Hollywood Showcase Party will be headlined by punk legends MXPX as well as Battle of the Bands Grand Prize winners Dr.Manhattan, Know Lyfe, Nothing More (pictured below) and Victim Effect (pictured on following page). Tickets for the event are $10 through the Key Club box office or Ticketmaster.com with doors opening at 7pm.
The prominent showcase event - which is the grand culmination of the months-long Battle of the Bands competition - gives winning artists the chance to perform live before an audience of recognized label execs, agents and managers, as well as family, friends and fans. Prior to taking the stage, the winners also received thousands of dollars in rock and roll prizes from battle sponsors, including a $10,000 Guitar Center shopping spree.
