Music Man Welcomes Rob"Blasko"Nickelson
Ozzy Osbourne bassist and co-songwriter "Blasko" has joined up with the Ernie Ball/Music Man company, recently acquiring the Music Man Stealth Stingray for the studio and live touring.
“Having Blasko on board is a great addition to our family of Music Man artists.” said Derek Brooks of the Ernie Ball Artist Relations department “He has been with a lot of notable bands in recent years, and is a great ambassador for Music Man products.”
Throughout his career, Blasko has displayed an uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time. Starting with LA based band Cryptic Slaughter in the 1980's, Rob's musical journey has taken him through numerous bands at the height of the their popularity. Prong, Danzig and Rob Zombie are a few of the bands with worldwide acclaim that had him holding down the low end. In 2003, Blasko joined Ozzy Osborne's band as the full time bassist -- a vacant slot left open by Metallica's Rob Trujillo. Other contributions include: Killing Spree, alt-rock band Drown, and side project the Death Riders.
