Albert Lee, renowned English recording artist and world class guitarist, is set to embark on an historic first US tour with his band, Albert Lee and Hogan's Heroes. The tour, celebrating Albert's 50 years of live performance, starts June 18 and culminates with Albert's performance at Eric Clapton's Cross Roads Festival in Chicago June 26.

Sublime w/Rome hits the road with Music Man!

It's been close to 14 years since Sublime's self titled major label debut hit the shelves and quickly became an overnight success. The Long Beach based band's tunes starting spreading across America like wild fire. The flame burned so bright that the album quickly went platinum despite the fact that the bands' lead singer and guitar player, Bradley Nowell, had tragically passed away of a heroin overdose only a month earlier. With no band and seemingly no tour to promote the album, what would happen next could only be attributed to the power of the songs that had been written and pieced together over the life of the band.

Chris Poland Visits Raleigh Music Academy

Chris Poland, an Ernie Ball strings artist, visited the Raleigh Music Academy and gave a clinic on 3-20-10. For about an hour and a half, he improvised and ripped it up with a couple of RMA teachers, took questions, and relayed stories and advice from his experience on the road with Megadeth to his current fusion band, OHM. Ernie Ball provided special giveaways such as hats, shirts and a new EB volume pedal.
