Position:

Electronics Supervisor

Schedule:

Full Time, Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm

Duties:

The Electronics Supervisor is responsible for supporting production's electronics assembly needs, producing quality electronic components. Works closely with the production manger, purchasing, various department heads and the engineering team to meet production requirements, maintain an accurate inventory of parts, and ensure high quality assemblies. The Electronics Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Plan and assign work to Electronics staff according to production schedule and skill requirement
Keep accurate inventory of vendor parts and finished goods
Ensure quality vendor parts before receiving deliveries, complete required paperwork and transactions when parts are bad or damaged
Create procedure documents when specific processes are changes or introduced
Guide and train all operators in assembly, testing, troubleshooting and packing
Remain attentive and productive in a high paced production environment
Follow-up on the status of material shortages and schedules
Monitor productivity to ensure efficient and consistently high level quality results
Maintain a positive work environment through employee development and conflict resolution
Resolve production issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action

Requirements:

3-5 years experience supervising personnel preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with electronics manufacturing
Guitar player with guitar and electronics knowledge
Minimum high school graduate. Some college or Bachelor's degree in relevant subject, preferably electronics, is a plus
Electronics assembly and soldering, thru-hole and surface mount technology experience a plus
Passion for audio and general electronics with a continuous interest in learning as the technology advances
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to clearly communicate expectations, requirements and results both written and verbally
Ability to understand engineering concepts and prints for assembly testing and evaluation
Demonstrated leadership ability
