As a Graphic Designer at Ernie Ball you’ll work intimately as part of the creative team to develop and apply the global marketing strategy, formulate concepts, execute and design ad campaigns for print, digital, content and social. You’ll be responsible for developing campaigns and the execution of creative materials that celebrate Ernie Ball’s iconic counterculture legacy. Projects cover a vast portfolio ranging from marketing campaigns, packaging, social media assets and film to company style guides and live music events. The design team works closely with the product, engineering, artist relations and marketing divisions to support campaigns and go-to-market strategic in over 130 countries world-wide.
How You Contribute:
Work intimately with the creative team to develop and executive creative concepts for Ernie Ball global marketing and product efforts.
Work on photo shoots, both location and table top including prep, styling and editing.
Partner with social media teams to support creative execution of influencer, product and brand campaigns.
Support creative team with production support on broadscale marketing campaigns, B2B and B2C sales efforts, email and content.
Stay current on and highlight trends and design technologies that further Ernie Ball’s brand goals.
Mentor junior creative staff.
Skills For Success:
A minimum of an associate's (2 year) degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor degree is preferred.
If no degree is possessed, then 4-6 years related experience in agency setting is ideal.
Exceptional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, design trends and typography.
An immersion in music, film and lifestyle sport culture - Background as a musician is a plus.
The ability to head multiple projects; supervise designing, concept development, style and implementation; assign tasks and monitor progress.
Excellent concepting, creative development, and design skills.
Comprehensive computer photo-retouching and image development skills.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
