Ernie Ball Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the brand’s marketing strategies including but not limited to project management, executing marketing plans, organizing global product launches, assisting the marketing leadership as needed, and tracking goal and conversions. The Marketing Manager will also work closely with our marketing partners and agencies to ensure maximum, timely and accurate promotion of Ernie Ball marketing, brand, artist, event and product efforts.
Assist in the development and execution of company’s marketing strategy, partnering with the internal marketing, sales, content and production teams, as well as external partners.
Responsible for the project management of brand and marketing campaigns.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of brand strategy and voice across all marketing platforms.
Work with the Marketing leadership to allocate marketing funds, define target metrics and measure ongoing ROI.
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop annual marketing calendar.
Work closely with Marketing Director and EVP Sales & Marketing to develop strategies and define requirements related to global marketing initiatives.
Identify new partners (i.e. Living Social, Groupon, Foursquare, etc.), execute tests and scale if profitable.
Assist in the measurement and reporting of various KPIs and the overall competitive landscape and health of Ernie Ball Music Man’s web presence & marketing programs.
Assist Marketing Director and EVP Marketing to ensure delivery of programs (and/or multiple projects) on time and within budget.
Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business administration, or related field.
Four years’ experience in business development or marketing positions.
Knowledge of project management, DAM, email, and blogging platforms.
Knowledge of brand marketing best practices.
Knowledge of Google Analytics and internet advertising platforms.
Must be able to work in a team, coordinating activities with various managers and program areas.
Must possess excellent written and verbal skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good problem solving and time management skills with ability to work in a fast- paced environment and meet corporate deadlines
Skills in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload and coordinate own activities with others

Demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication
Knowledge of guitars and music gear a plus
Strong understanding and willingness to learn marketing concepts as they relate to Ernie Ball Music Man’s marketing objectives, as well as overall company goals
Demonstrated general understanding of marketing strategies and channels, project management, and social media, email strategies and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to communicate knowledge of assigned tasks, provide effective execution of tasks and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to translate management direction to actionable tasks, effectively write, proofread, schedule and monitor channels, and effectively handle multiple assignments at one time.
