Formed in 1991 Adam Durkowitz and Dave Bryson wrote and recorded songs and formed a two man group playing shows in and around the bay area. Soon the duo formed a full fledged band and recorded their first album in 1993 August and everything after. "Mr Jones" was the first big single and the band gain in popularity. 7 releases and 20 million records later the band continues to do well touring the world over with songs filled with an eclectic mix of electric, acoustic, accordion and mandolin textures.
