Flogging Molly took its name from a long-running residency at LA's Molly Malone's, where the band's live shows flogged the place into worship. Since 1997, King and Co. have crafted a self-produced live disc, their proper 2000 debut "Swagger" and recently released "Drunken Lullabies."  Bassist Nathan Maxwell relies on a Music Man Sting Ray bass when performing live and in the studio.  Cross breeding traditional Irish influences and heavy-hearted storytelling with brazen punk rock, Flogging Molly has given thousands of fans Guinness and Harp soaked nights to remember. 2008 saw the release of "Float" which landed #4 on Billboard and was recorded entirely in Ireland, a first for the Irish rock band.
