Blink 182 formed together in the early 90's in San Diego CA.  Originally just Blink, Mark Hoppus, Tom De Longe and Scott Raynor recorded a self- released CD "Fly Swatter" in 1993. After a stint on The Vans Warped Tour and several dates opening for Pennywise, Blink signed with MCA records. Drummer Scott Raynor left the group, and was replaced by Travis Barker from The Aquabats. Their first CD with MCA "Enema of the State" was released in 1999. After selling over four million copies of Enema of the State, Blink became one of the premier leaders of the Pop Punk movement opening the door for other bands Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, and Sum 41.  Shortly after, Blink released Take off Your Pants and Jacket, which sold over 350,000 copies the first week and went on to cement Blink 182's place in the history of punk music. After a five year hiatus, Blink announced their reformation at the 2009 Grammy Awards.
