Aerosmith

Official Site

One of America's most dynamic rock bands, Aerosmith has been on the top of the rock charts for close to 40 years. Guitarist Joe Perry and vocalist Steven Tyler first met in 1970 playing in rival bands across metro Boston. From their first collaboration "Dream On" in 1973, the band has achieved worldwide acclaim with a multitude of hits during the heyday era of the 70's.

As the decade wore on the band struggled with inner turmoil which led to Perry's departure. Aerosmith lost it's luster and the band's popularity waned.  After a 5 year absence Perry rejoined his former bandmates cultivating some rejuvenated chemistry and a new recording contract with Geffen Records. In 1987 Steven Tyler and Joe Perry made a cameo appearance in Run DMC's Walk this Way video, a remake of their classic tune, furthering the bands popularity and interest to a host of new fans. Their comeback has been described as one of the most remarkable and spectacular in rock 'n' roll history. The band has had 21 top 40 hits, (9 landing at #1), 4 grammy awards and over 150 million albums sold worldwide.  Some of there most popular songs include "Back In the Saddle", "Toys in the Attic", "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion", and later hits, "Janie's Got a Gun", "Living on the Edge" and Don't Want to Miss a Thing". Look for a new CD and tour coming second quarter 09.
