Hinder was formed in Oklahoma City in 2002 after Joe Garvey and Cody Hanson discovered singer Austin Winker at a college party. The trio rounded out the band with Mike Rodden and Mark King. Shortly after the bands line up was set, the group released their first EP Far From Close, which caught the ear of label execs. The band found their label home at Universal Records. The band went to work recording their highly anticipated debut album Extreme Behavior. The album was released in 2005 and rose up the charts with their first single Get Stoned. The band went out on the road in support of bands such as Three Days Grace, Hoobastank, Nickleback, and Godsmack. Extreme Behavior has since been certified platinum twice. The band plans to head back out on the road in 2007 on their first headlining tour. Click on the audio link to the right to listen to their debut single Get Stoned.
