In 2000, Ernie Ball, Inc. designed and constructed the first of two self contained mobile stage trucks. Based on the success of the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands program, these stages were conceived to give emerging bands a chance to play live.

"It's harder than ever for talented new musicians to gain recognition. Ernie Ball feels that the lifeblood of music is in emerging talent." says Sterling Ball, CEO of Ernie Ball. "We want to support up and coming bands, and give them the opportunity to gain exposure. With the mobile stage, we have taken it one step further every band deserves a place to play."

Our first Mobile Stage Truck (MS1) was built in 2000. It's a 24' x 16' self contained stage that has been the home of the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands since construction. It has been featured on over a dozen North American tours and has been home to over 5,000 live performances to date.

Our second Mobile Stage Truck (MS2) was built in 2006. It's a 32' x 22' self contained stage with a unique inflatable roof structure. It has currently been on three North American tours and has been home to over 1,500 live performances to date.

Both of these revolutionary stages were designed and built in house by Ernie Ball employees. Each stage is 100% self contained. They both include a fold out stage, roofing, high quality touring sound system, lighting system, back-line, generators, and a first class crew. The Ernie Ball Stages feature the highest quality equipment thanks to our industry sponsors: Electrovoice, Midas, Dynacord, Klark Teknik, TC-Electronic, M-Audio, DW, Zildjian, Remo, Mark Bass, Krank, and Auralex.

The Ernie Ball Mobile Stages have been home to thousands of musicians. Every summer they can be heard at the Vans Warped Tour. They have been spotted at the SXSW Music Festival, the Target Grand Prix, The Dallas Guitar Show, The Sprite Liquid Mix Tour, The Moto Madness Tour, The Furnace Festival, and at the Vans Triple Crown Snowboarding Championships. In addition, the Ernie Ball Mobile Stage is home to the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, the longest running and largest live music promotion of its kind...
