Finally I found a picture of the new OLP Luke

Looks like it hasn't got EMG's ,not even EMG HZ's...

I emailed with OLP just yesterday to find out about pickups, neck shape etc. Here is the answer I got:

We are releasing a New OLP luke Model. Its has the same specs in shape and
contour as the original with parts and electrical differnces to keep the
price down. Luke approved it for himself at the NAMM Show in January...
However, Its made in China and has Custom designed active pickup sytem
from our custom pickup factory. its not THe EMG's...

So, if the neck has the same sexy shape as the original one and the sound is 'usable', I'd consider taking one for backup purposes... but I'll decide after I had it in my hands

OLP "How many zeroes is it gonna take Mr. Lukather?"

LUKE "I'm gonna say 5......with a 6 or a 7 in front of them."

OLP "How about a 5 in front of them?"

LUKE "Done."
