#2 for sure. I can see that in my living room right now...

[edit]
I like the way #2 looks without the metal plate under the knobs.

my other 2-bits would be to move the selector a bit towards the bridge and split the difference between the p/g and the control plate but not sure what that would do to the routering pattern for the cavity.

Preference? I like no control plate better on the burst, but it also makes it look like a chubby Sterling. The control plate may be an identifier for Stingrays for me. I still like it absent better though. :)

I would pick the black bass over the sunburst because it looks so tough, especially with the matching headstock. The 2 pup SR4 is such an amazing idea, though, that I would love to play either one.

When are we gonna see a 3 pup???

Hmmmmmmmm. I like 'em both. Is this a trick question?

Classic black. Very nice, but maybe that white PG is maybe too white? Especially with it being such a contrasting shape to the body?

The burst is georgeous. How 'bout no PG and a control plate?

BTW, what's with the pick-ups? The shells seem to have different tabs on them, like a bongo? Just a new shell?

Is the bridge pick-up the same as the 1 puppers?

Are SR4 pups still different than SR5 & Sterling?

Are bridge & neck pick-ups different than each other?

Inquiring minds want to know.
