The Other Kurt and Courtney Announce North American Tour

About two months ago, we reported on rumors that Ernie Ball artists Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett were teaming up to record a collaborative record together. On Wednesday, the two announced a North American tour in support of that record.

Rumor has it that two of our Ernie Ball family artists, @kurtvile and @courtneymelba, are currently collaborating on a new record. This photo from last week certainly makes that look like a real possibility! #CourtVile

Supporting the duo on tour will be a band known as the Sea Lice, comprised of Sleater-Kinney's Janet Weiss and touring member Katie Harkin, Rob Laakso of The Violators, and Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa. Additionally, the lineup has partnered with the Plus 1 organization, and one dollar from every ticket sold on the tour will be donated to the ACLU. The new record will be released later this year.
